Fall in Love with the Yvonne Craig Batgirl All Over Again
By Scott Collura Good old Diamond Select
is always a must-see on our Toy Fair to-do list. And this year was no
exception, with the company presenting figures and Minimates for Age of
Ultron and Ant-Man, busts based on the classic 1960s Batman and Batman: The Animated Series, and a statue of the Yvonne Craig Batgirl that is just uncanny.
Diamond also had on display action figures based on Gotham, featuring Gordon, Cobblepot and Selina Kyle, but unfortunately we were not allowed to photograph them just yet. Look for the figures this year, however.
Other licenses in the mix at Diamond include Star Trek, Alien, Predator, Ghosbusters, Universal Monsters, TMNT, Clerks, and yep, Pulp Fiction, which is getting Minimates. A Minimate of the Gimp? Life is now complete...
